We have just taken delivery of 'Olive" our stunning 1978 Westfalia Berlin Deluxe! We had visited Ian and his team a few times this year to see there very impressive set up and also to see the quality of there work. Buying Olive is a massive investment for us and one we have saved very hard for, we have taken our time with this purchase and also looked privately and also at other dealers before taking the plunge with VW Kampers..... Other companies didn't compare with service and value for money. I cannot begin to tell you how happy with our with the quality of our camper, is above and beyond our expectations and Ian's work and promises didn't fail to deliver. I cannot recommend Ian and his excellent team at VWKampers enough. Iona,our 2008 Danbury Rio was due for its first MOT and full service. This was all carried out with great attention to detail and i was allowed to watch and learn/talk while this was carried out. Ian's team are the friendliest guys you could ever want to trust and leave your van with, 10/10 for price and service. I found the whole visit great!!

Had the van for nearly a month now and enjoyed every minute in it. Champagne Charlie is a pleasure to drive and spend time in. We have all fell in love with him and the wait was well worth it. He ticks every box and Ian custmised him to our liking. The positive comments from all have been overwelming and the workmanship throughout the restoration has been second to none. Charlie is a real head turner for sure. On first impressions it's looks like we've got a van that will look after us if we look after him and that we are sure to do. We have been out camping every weekend so far and I feel in my life to date, it's the best thing i have ever parted my hard earned coin for. Ian was very helpful and i'm sure should I ever need further support, both him and his team will be there for us. I would highly recomend and funny enough, the mother-in-law is thinking hard about commisinioning the team to knock a van up for her. Watch this space Ian. Cheers

We have been discussing our ideal Bus with Ian having considered our options for an 'original', a Brazilian or a refurb. He talked with us 'amateurs' very very patiently and has now sourced us a fab rust free shell, painted it our chosen baby blue and is now putting in a new engine & interior ready for a new lifetime of fun! Thanks Ian for your expertise, advice and humour so far. We r so xcited about our new bus and for your fabulous business .... Get in the queue chaps if you are serious about using VW Kampers, ian's attention to detail is giving Andrew's a run for his £!!!!.

This is the second T2 we have bought from Ian. Unfortunately "Custard" caught fire on the A303 and is now in the big car park in the Sky. We immediately wanted another and Ian has helped us to find "Roobarb". Ian's attention to detail is second to none and we wouldn't consider using anyone else. Needless to say we got him to fit a fire extinguisher in the engine bay this time - an absolute MUST for anyone buying a restored aircooled T2! Thanks for all your help guys!!!

I travelled down to Bristol to see a well-known builder of VW campervans, intrigued by recent press comment and having had to scrap my 25 year old Winnebago LeSharo when it expired in France. I liked the new T3 bays they were working on but was not impressed with the rather off-hand treatment I got, and no test drive. When I got home I trawled the net and found VWK, just down the road. I gave Ian a call and after plenty of chat and road tests in old and new vans we agreed on terms to build new Brazilian van. That was in December 2010, and on 16th April I collected the keys after plenty of visits to make decisions on colours, furnishings and extras. The build quality is superb, with immaculate attention to detail, and I like it so much I have got rid of my car and the van is now my daily driver. Because she is still equipped to run on Ethanol she is now known to the family as Ethel...

Ian is the top man for providing the best service. There is no need to look further beyond VW Kampers for the best value.

Well we are just starting on our relationship with Ian and the VW Kampers crew having just bought a Westy Berlin that is undergoing restoration right now. We were really impressed with the quality of the work we saw and Ian's knowledge and passion for T2s and Westies in particular. We now have the really hard "waiting" bit to get through whilst our bus gets built. Roll on summer.
