This is the famous (Sick Bus) that is reported have cost the previous owner £100k to build! We have a drop box with 100’s of build images and you can start to understand the level of detail and fabraction work that has gone into this show winning very early T2 Camper.
Lets try to start with the Basics…
This is a nut and bolt restored very early bay, 01/01/1968 and was probaly made in 67 just after the splitscreen stopped prodcution, it carrys a lot of 1 year only parts on it only making it a rare base vehicle.

It has then been built from the shell up with a full custom hidden air ride system hiding in the chassis rails, fully adjustable from the front controler.
17″ Fuch wheels with tubbed archs, drives superb.., brakes, suspension and steering all as they should be.
Willwood disc brakes all round.
Custom buolt 1914cc engine ..
Full plaid custom inteior..
Hidden sound system with retro headunit.
Early splitscreen dashboard has been fabricated into it (just this alone is very impressive)
Spitscreen push handles , deluxe trim, smoothed bumpers,
Custom carpets, new headliner and seals around.
Colour code window frames, tinted glass, arrow straigh paint work, fully detailed engine bay, the list goes..
You could not build this for a fraction of the price.
Featured on Camper and Bus and won best of show at its first outting..
A total headturner and super cool..
