Description

This cheeky 2007 Kombi came to us in its plain white Brazilian paintwork.  It’s such a delight to drive and full of potential that we decided to treat it to a fresh coat of Turkish Green.  Tintop Danbury’s are relatively rare, as so many have had the poptop added, but this means that with this example, you could add an extended classic roof rack, or have a classic style pop top fitted.  The choice is yours, depending on your desires and needs.  Tintop Kombis do look fantastic with a classic wooden roof rack sporting a couple of surfboards, or maybe even a kayak!  Just let your imagination flow!  How would you personalise this campervan?  With such low mileage and just 1 owner it’s eager to get travelling!

Outside you’ll find, stainless steel mirrors and hubcaps, freshly painted white steel wheels (you could add white banded tyres to continue the classic look,) clear front indicators and shiny white front and rear bumpers.  The option to add a colour coded dummy front tyre cover would further the customisation.  The lack of pop top could enable it to fit in a garage where vertical space is tight.

With green cloth upholstery this Kombi carries 4 comfortably, up front the driver and passenger seats have 3 point seatbelts, the rear being fitted with 2 lap belts.  We can install 3 point seat belts to the rear if required.  The Rio conversion means a 3/4 width bed combined with multiple cupboards.  It has the bonus of the petrol powered rear heater to keep rear passengers warm on those chillier trips.

The Rio unit contains all you would need for a camping adventure – gas twin hob with grill, sink with electrically pumped cold water and a low power fridge.

The camper has further storage under the rear seat and in the boot. The spare wheel is stored to the rear nearside of the cabin.  You could increase this Kombi’s carrying capability by fitting a tow bar and fitting a bike carrier, or attaching a small box trailer.

Its modern water-cooled engine ensures reliability and low running costs.  The 80bhp 1.4 motor can return upwards of 35mpg.

Further features are:

VW factory fitted immobiliser.

Low power strip lights and rear spotlights in the cabin.

Removable table with pedestal fixing and matching leg.

12v camping electrics featuring on-the-go charging, 240v when on hook-up.

Leisure battery condition meter.

2 x twin 13 amp plugs for use when on hook-up.

Blackout curtains.

Front and rear heated screens.

Ipod Radio with 4 speakers.

Front cab heater with variable speed fan.

Easy clean laminate effect flooring.

Fire extinguisher.

Every camper we sell goes through a PDI check, a full valet, is serviced, and comes with a new MOT and a 3 month warranty.
